Vikram Naidu, an Interpol officer in Dubai, struggles with anger management and is plagued by nightmares about the 1984 New Delhi riots that killed his mother when he was 10 years old. While on a mission with Priya to rescue the son of an Indian businessman, Vikram is faithful to his mission and the boy is killed. After this incident, Vikram feels guilty and goes into a rage, which ultimately leads to his breakup with Priya. Five years later, Vikram retired from Interpol and works as a freelance agent, occasionally assisting with Interpol missions. He is meeting with a psychiatrist, Dr. Iyer tells Vikram that Priya has returned to India and joined NCB in Mumbai. He also revealed to her that he had received a phone call for the first time in 20 years from his estranged sister, businessman Anupama "Anu" Nair, who heads the conglomerate Nair Group. Vikram goes to Ooty and recalls his life when he was adopted by Anu's father Nagendra Naidu, a colonel in the Indian army whose life was saved during the riots. A few years later, Anu was separated from them when Naidu denied having an affair with businessman Ashok Nair. As a result, Naidu's health deteriorated. On his deathbed, Naidu made Vikram promise to protect and take care of Anu. Arriving at Anu's mansion in Ooty, Vikram meets Anu and reveals that she has received death threats and fears that her daughter Aditi is in danger as she cannot trust her personal bodyguard.

Anu asks Vikram to protect Aditi and Vikram tells Anu to be Aditi's bodyguard. Vikram begins his investigation by checking on Ashok Nair's family while Anu is away on a business trip. Vikram slowly starts changing Aditi's behavior and habits. Aditi and her friends distract Vikram and leave for Goa. After knowing Vikram's true identity, Siddhant attacks Vikram and Harish is killed in cross fire. After a fierce battle, Vikram manages to defeat and kill Siddhant. However, Vikram is surrounded by Lala's right-hand man Sadhu and his men, but Lala receives a video of Scorpion being tortured by Priya and tells them to stay away from Vikram.
